Lotus Kitchen Co

You know the specialty of lotus right? This beautiful flower is cultured in filth, making every possible effort to bloom bright and Lotus Kitchen in Ashok Vihar, Phase 1 has rightly justified its nomenclature.

This casual restaurant serves some lip smacking North-Indian, Italian, and other continental food.
Do you know what’s the best way to judge the cookery of a new food joint? Here’s a pro tip: Order some Chinese! Ahaa! So here’s what ended up on my platter

The food, out of paper bags, was well placed in microwave-safe bowls (perfect for less mess and lazy foodies).

I will begin with the Dry Manchurian that was fiery on spice although a little dry on the inside.

The second dish that was served to this Punjabi tongue was Dhabba Style Noodles. The noodles came without cabbage, just as ordered so it was well cooked and just as spicy as the Manchurian.

The next was Shahi Malai Kofta. Now in Indian Cuisine, you are deemed to have dry fruits in anything that is called “Shahi.” Remember the ice creams? And in case you are wondering, this curry did make me savor the Royal Indian flavor. The dish stood out with dry fruit infused kofta balls marinated with rich thick gravy.

Another interesting dish was Paneer Khurchan that consisted of soft rectangular pieces of Paneer cooked with flavorful spices.

The entire combo was complemented by tasty butter naan and some mint and garlic naan along with salad and green chutney, a perfect match for this mouth-watering feast.
